| Rex Gilfillan founded Theatrelight Limited in 1972 to provide a range
of electronic lighting control products to the Theatre and Television
industry. Rex’s previous experience as a theatre lighting designer
included working in English provincial theatre, the Welsh National Theatre
and working with Richard Pilbrow of Theatre Projects Ltd. in London’s
West End theatres.
Theatrelight is dedicated to the design and manufacture of equipment
which has reliability and ease of use as its major attributes.
Since the foundation of the company more than 30 years ago, Theatrelight
now has a flourishing export market to many countries worldwide. Major
